Peregrine Technologies, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, builds AI-enabled platforms that help public safety organizations, state and local governments, federal agencies, and private institutions turn siloed data into operational intelligence. You will lead Peregrine's community engagement function, responsible for how the company engages with the communities it serves and drives success in the civic arena. This is a founding role with national scope and significant ownership, sitting at the intersection of government affairs, communications, public relations, and go-to-market strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies for Peregrine deployments by mapping civic and political landscapes, identifying key stakeholders, conducting community listening, and preparing for public meetings and high-visibility moments.
- Create scalable community engagement playbooks covering stakeholder mapping, community listening, coalition building, public meeting preparation, and response to emerging concerns.
- Translate complex technology into accessible language grounded in local priorities and civic values, partnering with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Implementation teams.
- Monitor public discourse, media coverage, and stakeholder sentiment to identify emerging concerns, misinformation, and shape the public narrative around Peregrine's work.
- Build trusted relationships across the civic ecosystem including community organizations, civil rights advocates, faith leaders, business groups, public safety leaders, policy influencers, and local media.
- Support government partners through high-stakes civic moments including public hearings, council votes, and community meetings.
- Ensure community perspectives are incorporated into how Peregrine communicates, positions, and deploys its technology.
Success is measured by successful deployments supported by credible community engagement, a scalable playbook applicable nationwide, strong relationships with civic stakeholders, better-prepared government partners, clear public understanding of Peregrine's technology, and early identification and response to emerging concerns.
