Axiom Bio is building an ecosystem to replace animal testing and reshape clinical trials through proprietary datasets and machine learning models deployed across leading pharmaceutical companies. The company partners with major pharma organizations to transform capital into data and ML models that improve drug discovery and development workflows. You will own the complete commercial strategy and operations function for Axiom. This is a high-impact role reporting to the founders, responsible for mapping account strategy and phased progression for major pharmaceutical and biotech customers (ranging from $100B to $1T+ organizations). You will own pilot execution and conversion to revenue across the commercial pipeline, partnering closely with the CEO and technical leadership to drive enterprise adoption. Key responsibilities include: charting account growth trajectories from six to seven to eight figures and beyond; building relationships across scientific, technical, business, legal, procurement, and executive teams at customer organizations; establishing a rigorous commercial operating system covering pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, packaging, and deal strategy; serving as the voice of the customer internally, bringing field insights back to product and roadmap; driving creative dealmaking across SaaS, platform licenses, research collaborations, and data partnerships; acting as a true strategic counterpart to the CEO; ensuring deep in-person presence in the office, with customers, and at conferences; managing deal execution through legal, procurement, and IT; and driving accountability across highest-priority customer and company initiatives. You will need deep understanding of pharma and biotech, including drug discovery workflows, toxicology, DMPK, and how large organizations evaluate and adopt new platforms. Strong product instinct, customer empathy, and ability to translate customer needs into company direction are essential. You should be highly intelligent, energetic, persuasive, and ambitious—comfortable holding conversations with leading drug hunters and AI researchers. Technical chops to fluently discuss AI, scientific product vision, and business strategy with customers and technical teams are required. You must be a creative dealmaker who can structure non-obvious partnerships and get difficult deals done, while introducing rigor and accountability without bureaucracy. The role requires comfort pushing back on leadership with sharp, well-reasoned opinions and thriving in an intense, high-expectation, in-person, honest environment.
