Datadog is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to join its sales team in Sao Paulo. In this hybrid role, you will partner with sales teams to articulate Datadog's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. You will deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, conduct proof-of-concept evaluations, and help clients onboard and troubleshoot the product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the sales team to communicate Datadog's overall value proposition and strategy
- Delivering product and technical presentations to potential clients
- Conducting technical evaluations and proof-of-concept work
- Providing a direct line of communication between customers and the product team to collaborate on feature requests
- Assisting clients with product onboarding and resolving technical roadblocks
- Thinking creatively about technical challenges during the pre-sales lifecycle
- Continuously learning new technology to build competitive knowledge and credibility
- Serving as a brand ambassador and resolving customer concerns

Requirements:
- Knowledgeable and experienced with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools
- Comfortable and confident delivering technical presentations and demos to external customers or internal teams
- Previous experience in systems administration (Windows or Linux)
- Ability to think creatively about a wide variety of technical challenges
- Ability to sit up to 4 hours and travel to/from client sites
- Ability to travel via auto, train, or air up to 25% of the time
