Salary: AUD 167,000 - 200,000 / annual

ClearScore is a global marketplace for credit products with over 18 million users, operating in the UK, South Africa, Australia, and Canada. The Commercial Manager will lead revenue generation and partnership monetization for the Australian business, managing a team of 2 commercial executives. Key responsibilities include: running the commercial function for the AU business and meeting annual budget targets; shaping and executing commercial strategy to maintain competitive positioning and capture new revenue opportunities across key verticals; managing performance metrics for loan partnerships and increasing share of wallet; negotiating new and existing commercial agreements; collaborating with product teams on conversion funnel optimization; managing relationships with existing partners and negotiating deals with new partners; analyzing platform data to derive business insights, produce reports, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable initiatives; and overseeing day-to-day management of 2 commercial executives. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of work experience with a strong track record. Previous experience in commercial roles within financial services is desirable but not mandatory. Key attributes include: passion for solving credit and financial inclusion problems; comfort with ambiguity and ability to take on responsibility quickly; data-driven decision-making with strong analytical capabilities; ability to interpret insights, identify trends, and spot anomalies; and a consultative, proactive approach. Relevant background in management consulting, client-facing relationship roles (partner/account management), consumer finance, fintech, or B2B tech is valued.
