You will drive new business revenue across Latin America as a Commercial Manager, responsible for identifying, sourcing, and converting top-tier target accounts among physical commodity corporates and financial institutions. This is a full-cycle enterprise sales role where you will lead complex deals from initial discovery through commercial negotiations, legal execution, and procurement closure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and executing a strategic territory plan across Latin America
- Directing end-to-end enterprise sales cycles with multi-stakeholder engagement
- Building relationships with senior executives (Heads of Trading, Portfolio Managers, Chief Data Officers, Risk Leaders)
- Positioning Kpler's suite of commodity intelligence, freight analytics, sanctions screening, and API data feeds to align with client trading and analytical workflows
- Representing Kpler at key industry events across Latin American trade hubs
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Market Analysts, Product Management, and Customer Success on customer onboarding and pilot programs
You will work independently to source strategic pipeline and close six-figure new logo deals, while building a trusted reputation throughout regional commercial and financial communities.
REQUIREMENTS (Must-haves):
- Proven full-cycle enterprise B2B sales experience in market intelligence, SaaS, alternative data, financial terminals, or commodity analytics
- Deep understanding of physical commodity flows (energy, metals, agriculture) or financial markets (trading desks, hedge funds, asset managers), with ability to engage credibly with quantitative analysts and heads of trading
- Professional fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish for negotiations and presentations across Latin America
- Track record of self-sourcing strategic pipeline and winning USD six-figure new logo deals independently
Nice-to-haves:
- Direct experience with physical trade data, AIS tracking, freight analytics, or data delivery via REST APIs and data feeds
- Existing senior network of trading, research, and risk executives across major Latin American financial and commercial hubs
