You will join as a Commercial Finance Business Development Manager to drive new business across Kriya's unsecured, high-velocity SME lending products. This is an entrepreneurial, high-activity sales role where you own your pipeline and take responsibility for your numbers. You'll work with facility sizes of £100k–£1m, positioned competitively against non-bank competitors, with access to multiple inbound, outbound, and referral channels from day one.
Key Responsibilities:

- Run fast, structured qualification conversations to confirm genuine funding need and fit
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, pitch, objection handling, close
- Hit and exceed weekly and monthly activity and conversion targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records to support forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Build repeatable outbound habits: call volume, meeting volume, follow-up cadence
- Collaborate with credit, risk, operations, and collections teams to resolve customer queries and keep deals on track
- Feed market and competitor intelligence back to the commercial team
- Build toward future team growth as origination volume justifies expansion
- Implement AI in your workflows
Allica offers full onboarding support, continued development opportunities, flexible working options, regular social activities, pension contributions, discretionary bonus scheme, private health cover, life assurance, and enhanced maternity/paternity leave.
Requirements:

- Based in London and willing to work 1–2 days per week from the office regularly
- Background at a high-volume non-bank funder, fintech, or embedded lender
- Exposure to fast, digital-first onboarding and payout journeys
- Good understanding of challenges facing small businesses and range of finance products SMEs use
- Confident, direct communicator able to explain complex financial products simply to owners with little commercial finance experience
- Resilient and target-driven; treat setbacks as feedback
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy at high volume
- Organized pipeline management and CRM discipline
- Comfortable in hybrid startup-pace commercial team with bank-grade governance
