CodeRabbit is building AI-driven code review systems that combine language models with human expertise to enhance software development efficiency. As a Commercial Field Engineer, you will serve as the technical advisor and champion for post-sales customer success, working across the Commercial and mid-market segments. You will lead onboarding and implementation engagements, helping customers configure and optimize CodeRabbit within their development workflows and CI/CD environments. Key responsibilities include delivering customer trainings and technical enablement programs, conducting configuration reviews to ensure best practices, and troubleshooting complex issues in partnership with Support, Product, and Engineering teams. You'll serve as a technical escalation point for implementation and adoption challenges, building trusted relationships with developers and engineering managers. Working closely with Customer Success Managers, you will drive customer adoption, technical health, and long-term success. You'll gather customer feedback and collaborate cross-functionally to improve the product experience, while contributing to internal documentation, playbooks, and troubleshooting guides. You should stay current on emerging trends in AI-powered development tools, developer productivity, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD ecosystems, and help improve the scalability of onboarding workflows. You bring 2+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Technical Support Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Implementation Engineering. You have experience onboarding or supporting SaaS, developer tooling, or infrastructure products, with strong technical knowledge of software development workflows and modern engineering tools. You're comfortable troubleshooting APIs, integrations, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based systems, with familiarity in AWS, GCP, or Azure. Command-line proficiency and debugging skills are essential. Excellent communication, strong organizational skills for managing multiple engagements, and a passion for improving developer productivity round out the profile. Bonus experience includes GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, or high-growth startup environments.
