Peregrine Technologies, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, is an AI-enabled platform company serving public safety organizations, state and local governments, federal agencies, and private-sector institutions. The platform transforms siloed data into operational intelligence, currently supporting hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving over 125 million people.
You will drive Peregrine's expansion into new markets, verticals, and nonstandard opportunities. Working closely with the CEO, you'll identify, develop, and scope how to bring the Peregrine platform to new customers, then partner with forward-deployed teams to execute pilots and proof points. This role starts as an individual contributor but is expected to evolve into building and leading a small team.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and nurturing high-value expansion opportunities where Peregrine's operational AI can deliver transformational outcomes; owning strategic business development opportunities end-to-end from concept through pilot design, deal structuring, and handoff to implementation teams; partnering with the CEO on high-impact opportunities from the CEO's network and investor base; translating Peregrine's vision into compelling executive narratives for prospective partners; designing and scoping pilot engagements to set implementation teams up for success; and navigating organizational dynamics within partner organizations to ensure alignment and visibility.
You should have proven experience driving complex business development or partnership opportunities requiring deep C-Suite and VP-level engagement, ideally at a high-growth startup or in non-traditional enterprise/IR-like sales motions. You need strong strategic intuition for identifying valuable business problems at the intersection of unified data and AI, exceptional executive communication and presence, and first-principles thinking. The ideal candidate demonstrates humility, openness, bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and broad ownership of problems.
