Deliveroo is seeking a Commercial City Manager to lead restaurant partnerships and drive growth across Milton Keynes and Northampton. This hybrid role is based at the London headquarters and sits within the Regional Growth team, responsible for commercial performance of mid-market restaurant partners across the UK and Ireland. In this position, you will serve as the local expert and face of Deliveroo for your assigned territories. Key responsibilities include mapping local sales strategies to close value proposition gaps, managing account relationships with key restaurant partners, and optimizing their operational and platform performance. You'll drive data-led insights by analyzing restaurant and area performance metrics neighborhood by neighborhood to refine customer offerings and guide strategic decisions. You'll identify and onboard top local restaurant brands, setting them up for long-term commercial success through structured pitching and partnership development. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll partner with local Account Managers, Operations, and Marketing teams to support local hero brands and maximize marketing campaign participation. The role requires strong commercial and relationship management expertise, with proven experience in account management, sales, or strategy roles and a target-oriented mindset. You must excel at data-driven decision making, interpreting area performance metrics and restaurant data to uncover growth opportunities. You'll need strategic territory planning capability to identify market gaps, understand competitive dynamics, and build structured plans to boost market share. The position involves 2-3 days per week of field-based territory visits, requiring a valid UK driving license and access to a car. This is an opportunity to make visible impact in a fast-moving three-sided marketplace, working with autonomy and real responsibility while developing your career alongside ambitious, supportive teams.
