As a Commercial Account Executive, you will drive new business growth by acquiring net-new customers for Gong Foundations. You will own and manage the full sales cycle with a heavy focus on outbound prospecting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and manage a pipeline of net-new prospects through proactive outbound prospecting, from lead to close
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition, creating excitement among prospects
- Build relationships with net-new logos to drive them through the sales cycle to close
- Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve new business quota quarterly
- Run and implement 7 to 10 day pilot programs
The role is based in the Lehi area with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in-office. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with transparency and trust as core operating principles.
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of relevant new business/net-new logo closing experience in Commercial sales
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience preferred
- Strong outbound prospecting experience; comfortable building your own pipeline, not just working inbound leads
- Demonstrated success in achieving new business sales goals (President's Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Comfortable selling to VP and C-Suite executives, navigating multiple decision makers; experience selling to sales leaders is a plus
- Located in the Lehi area within commutable distance to the office
