InStride Health is seeking a Coach Manager to lead and develop a team of coaches delivering evidence-based support to patients and families with anxiety and OCD. Reporting to the Senior Director of Coaching, you will provide day-to-day people leadership, performance management, and operational oversight while serving as a key connection between coaches and the broader Coaching Department. You will foster a high-performing, growth-oriented team while ensuring consistent care quality and effective operations. Key responsibilities include leading and developing coaches, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, managing core people-leadership functions (recruiting, interviewing, performance reviews, goal setting, attendance), and ensuring coaches deliver high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with InStride standards. You will partner with therapists and care team members to address complex patient needs and escalations, manage team capacity and coverage to support sustainable care delivery, and monitor team performance using data and insights to identify strengths and address gaps. You will also support adoption of department processes, represent the coach experience in cross-functional partnerships, and contribute team insights to inform improvements in care delivery, workflows, and technology. InStride Health's mission is to expand access to insurance-based specialty anxiety and OCD care for children, teens, young adults, and families by combining research-backed clinical care with innovative technology. The company addresses major barriers to care: difficulty finding providers, long wait times, complex onboarding, and inconsistent use of evidence-based therapies. The role is fully remote with periodic in-person retreats. The company offers generous benefits including 401(k) with match, flexible PTO, paid holidays, paid service days, 4-week paid sabbatical, 12-week paid parental leave, and health benefits starting on day one. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field (required) - Demonstrated experience supervising and/or managing a team of professionals, ideally in healthcare, behavioral coaching, or structured support environments - Strong understanding of behavioral coaching, evidence-based behavior change, and the needs of children, adolescents, young adults, and families - Ability to use performance data, team metrics, and qualitative insights to identify trends and inform decisions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust, navigate challenges, and collaborate across clinical and operational teams - Demonstrated ability to create positive team environments, develop individual strengths, and support continuous improvement - Ability to assess complex situations and recognize when escalation is needed - Comfort with technology, data, and digital tools; openness to evolving workflows - Demonstrated commitment to HIPAA compliance and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion - Strong organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
