Salary: INR 600,000 - 1,000,000 / annual
Altus Group is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer for their Hyderabad office to manage and optimize AWS infrastructure while supporting development teams and production operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure, supporting the development team with application deployments and issue resolution, and collaborating with production support teams across time zones (India night shift with US day-time counterparts). Key responsibilities include cost optimization initiatives, security patching, responding to security alerts, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. You will work closely with both local and US-based teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
The position requires strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and system administration. You will be expected to handle production support responsibilities and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and deployment processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in AWS and cloud operations
- Strong proficiency with AWS services: EC2, Auto Scaling, Load Balancer, VPC, Route53, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, ECS, IAM
- DevOps tools expertise: Jenkins, CI/CD processes
- Infrastructure-as-code knowledge: Terraform, Ansible
- Monitoring and incident management tools: PagerDuty, ServiceNow (SNOW), Datadog
- Linux and Windows OS administration skills
- Network knowledge
- Azure knowledge preferred
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to work night shift India time and collaborate with US-based teams
