ScreenPoint Medical is seeking a hands-on Staff Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure to strengthen the reliability, security, and scalability of its cloud platform supporting AI-driven breast cancer detection solutions. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Engineering, working closely with the cloud architect and cross-functional teams including product, architecture, security, quality, and compliance. Key responsibilities include designing and operating cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and containerized environments; driving infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform; improving system reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response; strengthening cloud security including access control, hardening, and compliance execution; translating architectural and regulatory requirements into scalable solutions; leading cross-team cloud initiatives; and mentoring engineers on cloud best practices. Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent; deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and distributed systems; experience with Terraform or comparable IaC tooling; proficiency in Python and/or Go; strong knowledge of CI/CD, cloud security, and operational reliability; track record solving complex scaling challenges; ability to influence across teams without formal authority. Preferred: experience with regulated software, healthcare, or medical device products; familiarity with ISO 27001, IEC 62304, GDPR, data residency, or validated systems; multi-region architecture, disaster recovery, or cloud cost optimization experience; experience supporting AI/ML workloads in production. Healthcare domain experience is a plus but not required; the company seeks technically strong engineers who can apply expertise in regulated environments.
