WelbeHealth is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-wide planning, design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multiplatform application systems supporting organizational information needs and operations. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, cloud technology, healthcare interoperability, and digital products, helping shape scalable technology solutions that support WelbeHealth's growth while ensuring alignment across applications, platforms, integrations, security, and broader enterprise technology strategy.
You will provide mentorship to team members in technology supporting participant and consumer digital products and services. You will provide leadership for company staff, IT staff, and various committees to drive successful technology planning, investment decisions, and implementation for highly complex platforms. Your responsibilities include performing hands-on solution architecture design work, actively participating in design and code reviews, and ensuring Technology Platform solutions align with corresponding roadmaps.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting HL7 defined standards for interoperability to meet CMS health surveillance requirements, evaluating project needs, risk analysis, testing, monitoring, and potential security issues. You will conduct meetings with key system owners and external collaborators to understand current systems environments and evolving standards-based messaging, and resolve application services issues. You will share best practices and consistently update technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming products and solutions.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience (additional four years of IT experience may substitute). Minimum seven years of information technology design, development, and support experience. Solutions Architecture Certification (Azure preferred). Advanced hands-on experience with application solution architecture design and end-to-end software development of complex distributed systems. Minimum two years of healthcare or health plan industry experience including X12 payer transaction sets and health plan/payer data models. Minimum one year of EMR experience (EPIC, Athena, etc.). Integration Engine tools experience (MuleSoft, Boomi, Snaplogic) preferred.
