HealthEdge is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join its Cloud Operations Applications Engineering Team in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for installing, upgrading, and managing HealthEdge's healthcare applications across private cloud and customer-hosted environments. You will work within an agile deployment methodology, leveraging automation tools and monitoring technologies to ensure reliable application operations for enterprise healthcare clients.
Key responsibilities include executing deployment and upgrade assignments with high quality and timeliness, collaborating with technical teams to resolve complex operational issues, and identifying and closing knowledge gaps through continuous learning. You will work with healthcare data and must adhere to HealthEdge's policies governing sensitive health information handling. The role requires both technical problem-solving and the ability to communicate directly with senior management on high-visibility projects.
You will gain hands-on experience with J2EE middleware platforms (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss), deployment and automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), Linux system administration, PL/SQL databases, and shell scripting. The position involves occasional off-hours work for production environment upgrades, though the majority of expectations are standard business hours.
