Nudge is developing non-invasive, ultrasound-based brain stimulation and imaging technology to improve people's lives. The company is building vertically integrated hardware, software, and research capabilities to create products with broad impact. As Research Operations Manager, you will lead the operational execution of human research studies from planning through completion. You will manage and support the Research Staff responsible for day-to-day study execution, working closely with researchers and engineers to develop operational plans that align with research and device development priorities. Key responsibilities include: - Leading operational execution of human research studies across their full lifecycle - Managing and mentoring research staff responsible for study execution - Collaborating with researchers and engineers on operational planning - Building and improving systems, workflows, and processes to enable research organization scaling - Coordinating participant operations, staffing, scheduling, equipment, and study logistics across multiple concurrent studies - Identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase study quality and throughput - Documenting study execution, communicating operational updates, and supporting regulatory activities You will operate in a fast-paced, ambitious environment where you'll help establish operational excellence for a cutting-edge research organization. Requirements: - At least 5 years of directly relevant experience in research operations, study operations, program management, or similarly complex interdisciplinary projects - Excellent project management and organizational skills - Ability to build processes and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments - Experience working closely with scientific researchers, engineers, and other technical teams - Experience leading, mentoring, or managing teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High integrity and strong professional judgment - Experience supporting human-subject research is preferred but not required
