Blackbird Health, a clinician-founded pediatric mental health provider, is seeking a Clinical Quality Supervisor to lead clinical quality assurance and professional development across their therapy team while maintaining a direct care caseload. The role combines clinical supervision, chart auditing, clinician mentoring, and direct patient care (12-15 hours per week of therapy delivery).
You will conduct regular quality reviews of clinical notes, treatment plans, diagnostic assessments, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance and clinical accuracy. You'll establish and monitor clinical care benchmarks, using audit findings to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement. You'll deliver individual and group supervision to assigned therapists, supporting case conceptualization, risk management, and professional growth. You'll partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and training new clinicians on Blackbird's care model, documentation standards, and evidence-based practices, providing constructive feedback based on performance reviews.
Blackbird delivers virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland, with expansion planned for 2027. The company takes a whole-child approach, examining how brain, body, and behavior interact. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams (PMHNPs, OT, SLP) and use clinical outcomes and quality metrics to guide supervision efforts. The role is fully remote with guaranteed caseload referrals, administrative and credentialing support, paid consultation time, and structured weekly clinical consultations.
