Neko Health is redefining preventative care through data-driven, non-invasive full-body scanning combined with direct clinical care. The company delivers personalized, actionable health insights in under an hour, with a mission to make prevention accessible before symptoms appear.
As Clinical Education Specialist, you will lead clinician training and competency development across Neko's expanding US East Coast clinic network. You will own the onboarding cycle for all new clinicians, ensuring they meet the global standard set by Neko's curriculum. Your responsibilities include running cohort onboarding programs, tracking clinician progress, conducting competency sign-offs, and deciding advancement or offboarding decisions in partnership with Clinic Leads. You will triage clinical escalations, deliver structured remediation for underperforming clinicians, and immediately escalate safety concerns. You will support and develop local clinician education partners, facilitate regular roundtables, and coordinate with the Clinician Launch Trainer on new clinic openings to plan education capacity. You will also maintain a practicing clinician role, keeping clinical skills current while building this emerging function. Collaboration with the Global Clinician Education Lead is essential—you will share evidence on what's working in clinics and request US-specific curriculum adaptations as needed.
The ideal candidate combines clinical expertise with strong training and mentoring experience. You are warm and direct, build trust quickly, raise problems early, and hold standards through influence rather than authority. You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and excel at difficult conversations delivered with constructive feedback.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active, unrestricted MD, DO, NP, or PA licensure in New York State, with willingness to obtain licensure in other East Coast states
- 5+ years post-registration clinical practice, including 2+ years in fast-paced or high-volume settings
- 3+ years training, onboarding, or mentoring clinicians, including competency assessment against defined criteria
- 3+ years delivering direct, constructive feedback and holding standards in difficult conversations
- 2+ years running concurrent onboarding or training cohorts with moving deadlines
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience coaching educators or trainers across multiple sites
- Experience supporting clinic or service openings
- Multi-state licensure or experience navigating licensure quickly
- Background in preventive or lifestyle medicine
