Salary: USD 275,000 - 325,000 / annual

As Clinical AI Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 5 clinical AI individual contributors across two product pods. This is a hybrid leadership role combining management with hands-on technical work. You'll ramp as an individual contributor first, then transition into team leadership while continuing to own projects within your pods.
Key responsibilities include: managing and developing clinical AI ICs (many new to tech), owning the clinical AI roadmap and quality for your pods, carrying your own projects in prompting and evaluation design, providing technical and clinical guidance to your team, representing the clinical perspective with product and engineering teams, coaching ICs on execution habits, and participating in hiring.
You'll work on mission-critical problems at the intersection of clinical medicine and AI, directly improving clinician workflows and health system financial outcomes. The role requires deep clinical judgment combined with technical fluency in AI/LLM concepts, hands-on experience with prompting and evaluation, and strong execution skills. You'll operate in a high-ownership, high-trust startup environment with real autonomy and accountability.
