Neko Health is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a preventative care clinic in Washington, D.C. This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for clinic performance, team management, and member experience.
In this role, you will lead and develop the clinic team, partnering closely with physicians and medical leadership on clinical quality and team effectiveness. You'll manage all operational aspects including staffing, scheduling, inventory, facilities, and budget accountability. You are responsible for translating clinical and operational changes from leadership into actionable workflows and protocols that the clinic team executes daily.
Key responsibilities include: leading clinical hiring and onboarding in partnership with Talent Acquisition; tracking and acting on clinic metrics (rebooking, CSAT, NPS, utilization, throughput); owning incident reporting and risk management; ensuring HIPAA, OSHA, and internal SOP compliance; and maintaining direct accountability for the member experience. You'll work closely with the Lead Operator and Workforce Scheduler to keep staffing covered and clinic flow smooth.
You are expected to read clinical situations credibly, ask the right questions, and partner with physicians as a peer. Physicians respect you because you've earned clinical credibility through understanding the work, not just the operations around it. You operate effectively in ambiguity, having built teams or processes from scratch and made resourcing decisions with incomplete data.
Minimum qualifications: 5+ years of clinic or practice management experience with single-site operational ownership (staffing, scheduling, performance, budget). Direct line-management of physicians or licensed clinicians is a plus. Experience building, improving, or stabilizing operating systems during periods of change is preferred. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Neko's mission is to make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalized, actionable insights.
