Blackbird Health, a clinician-founded pediatric mental health provider, is seeking a Facilities & Clinic Operations Coordinator to serve as the on-the-ground operational owner for clinic environments across Northern Virginia and Maryland. This role combines day-to-day facility management with hands-on involvement in launching new clinic locations.
You will conduct regular site visits to inspect spaces, resolve facility tickets, oversee maintenance and repairs, and manage keycard access and alarm systems across assigned regional clinics. A significant portion of your work involves supporting new clinic launches—executing physical setups, coordinating furniture and signage deliveries, scheduling vendors, and managing launch readiness checklists. You'll also oversee local clinic inventories, equipment, and furniture refreshes across your regional footprint.
This is a mobile role requiring frequent travel across Northern Virginia and Maryland clinic locations. You'll partner cross-functionally with Clinical Leads, IT, and Operations teams to maintain project trackers, communicate site updates, and resolve operational roadblocks. The ideal candidate thrives as an independent problem-solver, is detail-oriented about maintaining clean and welcoming physical spaces, and excels at building strong relationships with property managers, landlords, and local contractors.
Blackbird Health takes a whole-child approach to pediatric mental health, addressing root causes rather than symptoms. The company operates virtual and in-person services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland, with expansion planned for 2027.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in multi-site facilities, office operations, retail/hospitality, or project coordination
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, maintenance requests, and site logistics independently
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to physical detail
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently across regional clinic locations in Northern Virginia and Maryland
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in healthcare, pediatric, or behavioral health clinic operations
- Hands-on experience with new site openings, office relocations, or punch-list inspections
