CEEZER is building enterprise-grade infrastructure for Climate Performance Asset management, helping the world's largest companies source and manage carbon credits, Energy Attribution Certificates (EAC), and Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates (SAFc). The company provides data-driven precision, real-time monitoring, and framework-compliant reporting for climate action investment.
You will lead CEEZER's expansion into climate performance assets, owning strategy and deal execution across EAC, SAFc, and the secondary carbon market. Starting as a team of one, you will drive supply origination, provide market expertise to clients, and scale your team as the business grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up strategy for climate performance asset supply access across EAC, SAFc, and secondary carbon markets
- Evaluating and driving end-to-end expansion into new climate performance assets, from market assessment through transaction execution
- Running the trading of climate performance assets: ensuring supply access, executing deals, negotiating prices and contracts, and structuring complex transactions
- Leading and growing the Climate Asset Development team, starting with a Climate Asset Trader, setting priorities and building the team as volume scales
- Establishing CEEZER's thought leadership on EAC and SAFc, providing expert insights to translate policy and market trends into strategy and execution
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, registries, and regulatory bodies; acting as subject-matter expert in client conversations
- Driving company-wide projects and collaborating with Revenue, Supply, Operations, and Product teams
- Collecting and structuring data, collecting quotes, and collaborating with data platforms and intelligence providers for analyses and decision-making

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, VC-backed startups, or similar high-performance environments
- Experience with climate performance assets, trading, or energy markets is a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Executional excellence balanced with speed; comfort taking measured risks within a defined framework
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong at building relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally
- Leadership experience is a plus
- High ownership, accountability, and integrity; willingness to learn and grow
- Strong business acumen and commercial hunger
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in business, economics, finance, international relations, environmental studies, or related field is a plus
- Fluency in English required
- Valid work permit in Germany required
