CloudFactory is seeking a Client Principal for AI Consulting focused on the Energy, Oil & Gas sector. This is a senior commercial and strategic leadership role serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite and VP stakeholders across energy operators, oilfield services companies, and energy enterprises.
You will drive market growth strategy and lead the full commercial lifecycle—from new client acquisition and account expansion to P/L management. Your responsibilities include building executive relationships, developing strategic account plans that scale from pilot to enterprise programs, and leading consultative sales conversations to build compelling business cases for AI investment. You'll navigate complex stakeholder environments across operations, subsurface, engineering, HSE, IT, and data teams, and develop deep understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
On the solution side, you will identify and shape high-impact AI use cases including predictive maintenance and asset monitoring, computer vision for inspection (drone, aerial, field imagery), safety and compliance automation, intelligent document processing from engineering documentation, and geospatial/LiDAR/digital twin data pipelines. You'll translate operational challenges into scalable AI solutions, partner with technical and delivery teams, and oversee delivery to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomes.
You will also lead and inspire cross-functional teams including consultants, data scientists, and engineers; foster collaboration between client stakeholders and internal teams; and contribute thought leadership through industry events and client engagements, bringing sector insights into product, delivery, and go-to-market strategy.

**Requirements:**
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, technology, or digital transformation within energy, oil & gas, or adjacent industrial sectors
- Deep industry expertise with strong understanding of operations and digital transformation
- Established executive network across energy operators or oilfield services companies that you can activate from day one
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate operational challenges into AI-driven opportunities; P/L management experience required
- Technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, including predictive analytics and computer vision
- Proven consulting and commercial experience managing enterprise clients and complex engagements
- Executive presence and communication skills to engage senior stakeholders as a trusted peer
- Leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related field (advanced degrees in AI, data science, or business are a plus)
