Farther is a venture-backed RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) combining expert advisors with fintech technology to deliver tailored wealth management. The company was founded by leaders from private wealth, fintech, and technology backgrounds.
As a Client Operations Associate, you will be a core member of the operations team responsible for the execution and scaling of account openings, transfers, and money movements across Farther's multi-custodial platform. This is a hands-on role where you own outcomes, not just route tickets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and triage the daily Core Ops request queue, including access provisioning, rep code updates, and similar operational tasks, maintaining fast turnaround for advisors
- Provide hands-on support for high-impact projects such as Historical Performance Migrations and Custodial Mergers
- Develop deep fluency across custodial platforms including Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and others
- Partner with technical specialists and customer experience teams to identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Help build the operational redundancy and structure needed to scale Core Ops alongside business growth
You will work in a collaborative environment with entrepreneurs passionate about helping clients and teammates succeed. The role offers ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling fintech startup with exposure to wealth management operations at scale.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of operations experience at a custodian, RIA, or wealth management firm with real end-to-end ownership of tasks like account opening and money movement (not just request routing)
- Experience working across multiple custodians or departments
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage high, growing volume of requests
- Fast learner capable of quickly picking up new systems and workflows
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience at an independent RIA
- Exposure to custodial mergers, data migrations, or similar technical projects
- Service background demonstrating attention to detail in supporting others
