Connecteam is a leading platform for managing deskless teams, trusted by over 80,000 businesses worldwide. The company provides an intuitive app that consolidates daily operations and team communication—from hiring and scheduling to training, tasks, and coordination—for frontline workers across stores and sites. Backed by $220M+ from Insight Partners, Stripes, and Tiger Global, Connecteam is rapidly expanding globally. As Client Onboarding Manager, you will guide new customers acquired through partnerships through the full implementation of Connecteam, from initial handoff through successful payroll launch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines project management, system configuration, payroll-process expertise, customer training, and cross-functional coordination. You will own the customer onboarding process by managing a book of partnership-sourced customers from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization. You'll build implementation plans around first clock-in dates, payroll periods, training requirements, and payroll-processing deadlines. You'll lead kickoff meetings, system setup, training sessions, and payroll configuration while maintaining clear timelines, responsibilities, and customer communication throughout each project. Key responsibilities include: conducting discovery and translating business requirements into practical Connecteam configurations; identifying complex requirements and designing appropriate solutions; configuring account settings and managing integrations; delivering training to clients and managers on the platform and payroll workflows; troubleshooting issues across the full workflow; and maintaining accurate documentation of architecture decisions, risks, and handoff notes. Success requires strong project management skills to juggle multiple customer implementations simultaneously, excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences, tech-savviness to quickly learn software and troubleshoot issues, and strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. You'll work closely with partner Implementation Managers and coordinate across Sales, Support, Product, Integrations, and leadership teams. The role demands high interpersonal perceptiveness to navigate complex dynamics while maintaining trust across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
