Farther Finance is a rapidly growing RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) combining expert advisors with cutting-edge technology to deliver comprehensive, tailored wealth management. The company was founded by leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry with expertise in traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production, backed by top-tier venture capital and fintech investors. This role is a dedicated Client Experience Associate serving as the right hand to one of Farther's advisors. You will own the full client service lifecycle—everything except client meetings themselves—enabling the advisor to focus on planning and relationships rather than day-to-day execution. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy position built for someone who wants to excel in client relationship management and operational execution, not a stepping stone to advisory or management roles. Key responsibilities include: serving as the primary point of contact for daily client needs (monitoring email and voicemail, responding with professionalism and judgment); facilitating money movements, distributions, trades, and rebalancing actions; proactively monitoring custodian alerts and action items (NIGOs, money movement issues) and driving resolution; owning meeting preparation and follow-up with living meeting planners; coordinating paperwork and workflows across custodian platforms, DocuSign, and paper processes; ensuring Required Minimum Distributions and deadline-driven items are completed ahead of schedule; and handling the majority of client matters independently when the advisor is out of office. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management, including full client lifecycle ownership in boutique or independent advisory practices. You should have strong communication skills, calm judgment under pressure, experience with custodial platforms and trading/rebalancing tools, exceptional organization and attention to detail, and comfort operating with autonomy. The role seeks someone genuinely looking for a long-term home in this seat. Bonus qualifications include former CFP-track professionals who prefer execution and client care over prospecting or advising, hands-on experience with portfolio and trading platforms (55ip, Ramp, etc.), and a passion for building efficient, repeatable operational processes. Farther offers competitive compensation, the opportunity to work alongside fintech leaders, ground-floor access at a fast-scaling startup, growth opportunities as the company expands, full health benefits with 401(k) matching and Roth IRA options, and unlimited PTO.
