Salary: USD 95,000 - 105,000 / annual
Coalition is seeking an experienced Cyber Claims Specialist to join its growing claims team. The role focuses on handling complex cyber insurance claims for primary Cyber, Tech, and Media policies, while providing support to the underwriting team and managing relationships with vendors including breach coaches, defense counsel, and coverage counsel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Intake and coordination of cyber events with breach counsel, forensic investigators, and other vendors
- After-hours claim intake and incident response coordination as needed
- Evaluation of pending claims, reserve recommendations, and accurate file documentation in claims systems
- Analysis of liability and damage data for complex claims with appropriate documentation
- Coverage analysis and drafting of coverage letters
- Management and tracking of third-party vendors and service provider work and spend
- Relationship development with brokers, risk managers, general counsels, and vendors
- Identification of settlement opportunities and collaboration on claim defense and resolution
- Data and analytics support to underwriters
- Liaison work with partner carriers on a daily basis

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience adjusting cyber claims
- Juris Doctor or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be a licensed claims adjuster in your state of residence and able to obtain licensing in the following states: NY, TX, FL, GA, MI, WA, NC, CT, and AZ
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, interact with others, meet deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced, changing work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with ability to excel in a collegial environment while working independently
