Brodie League is a fast-growing adult recreational basketball league with 50,000+ athletes across 20+ locations. As a City Launcher, you will own the complete market entry and growth for Seattle, serving as the face of Brodie in your city. Your core responsibilities include: launching your market end-to-end by securing facilities, recruiting founding captains and free agents, and building local buzz through grassroots outreach; recruiting and managing a pipeline of captains, teams, and free agents from local basketball programs, parks, gyms, and community centers; owning the season by attending game nights, building relationships with captains and players, monitoring league health metrics, and driving retention; and helping develop the repeatable launch playbook that future Brodie cities will use. You will manage the full sales cycle from cold outreach to gym owners through closing founding captains. You'll develop outbound strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn, networking, and events. You'll track pipeline activity in CRM, manage the local social media presence, and validate market demand with real numbers. As you stabilize Seattle, you'll earn the right to expand into adjacent cities within your territory. This role requires 3+ years in sales, partnerships, community management, or growth. You need strong outbound and relationship-building skills, comfort generating pipeline from scratch, and the ability to manage conversations from first touch through close. You must be highly self-motivated, comfortable operating autonomously, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Passion for basketball and sports culture is essential, as is strong tech acumen. You'll be based in Seattle with in-market presence required, including evenings and weekends. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 base plus uncapped commission (~$500 per team signed). You'll report to the Sr. Director of Growth and work closely with operations, brand, and people teams.
