We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead engineering, infrastructure, and security functions across a ~30-person team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and deep technical involvement. You will build operational maturity and technical standards to support organizational growth and due diligence processes while maintaining team stability and motivation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Build engineering process and operational maturity from the ground up—establishing architecture standards, coding guidelines, CloudOps, GitOps, and security practices. Close current gaps in monitoring, alerting, and observability rather than coasting on existing systems.
• Revitalize and run the security function as a first-class discipline, owning audits, compliance readiness (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA-type frameworks), application hardening, and incident response.
• Lead and develop the engineering team, building delegation structures and bench strength so the organization runs effectively without you as a bottleneck.
• Review architecture decisions, unblock teams, and set technical standards while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical technical decisions.
• Prepare the technology organization for scaling and external scrutiny through diligence processes.
This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in high-growth environments, combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and is passionate about building world-class engineering organizations.
