Satispay is a fintech platform on a mission to empower people through finance, starting with payments and expanding into benefits, investing, and cards. The company serves 6.5M+ users across Europe and is in a hyper-growth phase.
As Chief Operating Officer, you will scale and optimize Satispay's operational foundations to support rapid expansion across Europe. Your responsibilities include:
- Strategic Operations: Direct daily operational activities aligned with long-term company objectives, ensuring seamless execution across all teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement scalable processes that enhance business efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance to guarantee end-to-end execution.
- Performance & Metrics: Define, track, and drive key operational KPIs, establishing robust reporting frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
- Scalability & Infrastructure: Build resilient operational systems capable of supporting rapid user acquisition and geographical expansion.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate with peers through structured communication and transparency, demonstrating integrity and ownership.
The role is based in Luxembourg with expected travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan. The company operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, plus one day of your choice), with flexibility to request additional remote time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven executive experience as COO, VP Operations, or similar senior leadership role in a fast-growing scale-up, tech, or fintech environment
- Demonstrated success in designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes at scale
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with ability to turn complex business challenges into clear, actionable operational frameworks using data-driven insights
- Track record of building, scaling, and empowering high-performing operational teams with an empathetic yet results-oriented approach
- Strong ownership mindset with hands-on approach to problem-solving in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
- Travel flexibility: up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan
