ServiceNow's Employee Experience Business Unit (formed from the late-2025 acquisition of Moveworks and unification with HR Service Delivery) is in hypergrowth and represents one of the most exciting growth environments in enterprise AI. The GVP of Moveworks Sales is seeking a Chief of Staff to act as a critical strategy partner, senior operator, and right hand, with a mandate to define and own the strategic and operating outcomes that directly drive business unit performance. You will own operating metrics end-to-end, including specialist ramp-to-productivity, bundle attach rate, pipeline coverage by segment, and specialist productivity—with accountability for moving these numbers, not just reporting on them. You will drive specialist sales as a growth engine, owning talent bar, onboarding, ramp math, and territory design as a continuous discipline. You will design and drive adoption of sales plays, working closely with GTM specialists to translate portfolio strategy into plays that specialists and core account executives can land with customers. You will design the operating cadence, including forecast calls, pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, and leadership staff inside the EX BU, plus interlocks with core sales and product leadership. You will tee up and drive decision-making with senior leaders rather than deliver status updates. You will manage cross-functional dependencies that determine revenue outcomes, holding standing relationships with Product, Marketing, Business Value, Enablement, and Customer Success, and represent the sales point of view with authority. You will own the strategic narrative and supporting analysis for executive staff and board forums, with a defensible point of view on what the organization needs to learn from the data. Success in 12 months means core sales leaders and AEs are engaged with the EX portfolio as a customer priority; faster productivity ramp for specialist sales with repeatable onboarding, playbooks, and business value cases; product, marketing, and CS commitments sequenced against the sales plan with early visibility; and the GVP spending materially more time with customers and core leaders with strategic clarity on key priorities. This is not an executive assistant, program manager, or deck builder. You will have the authority to take action and drive outcomes. The role extends far beyond strategy frameworks and requires deep understanding of product tradeoffs, competitive dynamics, deal economics, and customer engagement. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years of relevant experience - Top-tier management consulting experience at Principal/AP/Senior Manager level; MBA preferred - Operating experience inside a large technology company, ideally enterprise software/AI - Go-to-market strategy experience, ideally with expertise representing a specialist sales unit/team - Startup exposure or comparable muscle—comfort operating quickly with incomplete information - Strong commercial instincts and fluency with data: ability to build models, find insights, and defend conclusions - Executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior leaders, with judgment to push back when it matters Location: Remote, major US metro. Nice to have: Eastern Time Zone based given GVP location. Approximately monthly travel for customer meetings, leadership offsites, and planning sessions.
