The Delivery Operations team is responsible for end-to-end execution of human data programs, ensuring projects are properly staffed, scoped, and delivered on time and at quality for customers. As Chief of Staff to the VP of Delivery Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives, maintain cross-functional execution discipline, and translate priorities into results across a fast-moving organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a strategic thought partner to the VP, helping set priorities, structure decisions, and prepare for key meetings, reviews, and offsites
- Driving projects from strategy through execution, coordinating across Delivery, Recruiting, Ops, Product, and Finance to keep initiatives on track
- Building and maintaining the org's operating rhythm, including weekly business reviews, KPI tracking, OKRs, and leadership reporting
- Diagnosing operational bottlenecks and proposing solutions across staffing, throughput, quality, and margin
- Preparing briefings, decks, and analyses for executive and board-level conversations
- Owning special projects including new program launches, process redesigns, vendor evaluations, and headcount planning
- Acting as a trusted filter for the VP, triaging priorities and resolving issues directly when appropriate
This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to how a human data delivery organization operates at scale, with a fast path to broader ownership as the company grows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of experience in a high-ownership operating role such as chief of staff, business or strategy operations, management consulting, investment banking, venture, or startup operating role
- Prior experience in human data, data annotation, RLHF, or AI training data operations
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable building models, structuring ambiguous problems, and drawing conclusions from data
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations
- Bias toward execution; ability to move from "what should we do" to "it's done" without extensive hand-holding
- Comfort operating in fast-changing, high-growth environments with shifting priorities
- Track record of excellent cross-functional collaboration, building trust and aligning stakeholders across teams and organizations
