Impossible Cloud is a European cloud storage provider offering enterprise-grade, S3-compatible object storage designed to challenge hyperscaler dominance with faster performance, cost efficiency, and data sovereignty. Headquartered in Hamburg, the company is building the next generation of internet infrastructure. As Chief of Staff (Founder's Associate), you will be the operational backbone of the company, working directly with the founders to drive strategic and administrative priorities. Your responsibilities include: • Owning the company's operating rhythm—managing leadership meetings, priority setting, and decision follow-through so founders focus on high-leverage activities only they can execute. • Leading critical strategic initiatives across product, commercial, and finance from hypothesis through implementation, with full founder backing. • Taking GPU and AI inference products to market alongside founders and product/sales/partner leads. You will define target segments, develop go-to-market strategy, and build partner motions until revenue scales. • Managing financing and investor relations, including financial modeling, board materials, investor communications, and preparation for investor scrutiny. • Translating founder strategy into clear priorities, ownership assignments, and deadlines for the leadership team, then holding the company accountable. This is a high-impact role at a critical growth stage, combining operational excellence with strategic business development in a fast-moving cloud infrastructure company. REQUIREMENTS: • 2–5 years of experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or comparable management consulting firm, with an outstanding academic record and documented history of early promotion and top performance reviews. • Proven ability to own end-to-end projects from unstructured problem definition through implementation and measurable results; you can articulate your personal contribution and methodology. • Strong quantitative skills: experience building financial models and commercial analyses (go-to-market, pricing, sales performance) that drove client results and withstand investor scrutiny. • Ability to rapidly master technical domains; you can explain how GPU compute or cloud infrastructure creates customer value, or demonstrate equivalent domain learning in a comparable field. • AI-native working style: proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to work faster and smarter is a baseline expectation. • Professional fluency in English and German.
