Eon.io is transforming cloud backups into useful assets through its Cloud Backup Posture Management (CBPM) platform, backed by prominent investors including Sequoia, Lightspeed, and Bond. The company provides instant visibility and access across all cloud environments, turning every backup into a searchable and accessible data asset.
As Channels Lead for the Central region, you will build and expand Eon's partner ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and managing strategic partners including VARs, distributors, MSSPs, and resellers. This role combines partner development, business growth, and hands-on execution, requiring a proactive, commercially driven approach to building strong relationships that drive meaningful revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding strategic channel partners, developing long-term relationships to help them grow their business with Eon, and providing ongoing enablement and engagement support. You will drive pipeline and revenue through channel partners by working closely with them to identify opportunities, support deal progression, and monitor performance to optimize results.
You will deliver training, resources, and enablement materials to ensure partners can effectively position and sell Eon's platform. This includes developing playbooks and go-to-market initiatives to support partner success. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with Sales and Marketing on joint go-to-market initiatives, coordinate with Product and Customer Success teams, and serve as a key point of contact between partners and internal teams.
In a player-coach capacity, you will mentor other channel team members by sharing best practices, coaching on partner strategy, and helping level up the broader team while managing your own partner portfolio.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development within SaaS, enterprise software, or cybersecurity companies, with proven experience working with VARs, distributors, MSSPs, or reseller ecosystems. You must have a track record of driving pipeline and revenue through partners, strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a hands-on, proactive approach. Experience in high-growth SaaS companies, building successful channel programs at fast-growing startups, and mentoring or coaching peers in a player-coach capacity are advantageous.
