Square is seeking a Channel Expansion Manager to lead the delivery of third-party sales channels—Independent Consultants and Resellers—across international markets, based in London. The role has two equally important components: launching channels in new markets and scaling existing channels that are currently immature and manually run. You'll diagnose operational breakdowns, design missing processes, and remove bottlenecks that cap growth. This is an execution-focused position where you're judged on what ships, not what's planned. Key responsibilities include: **Scaling existing markets:** Own a portfolio of improvement programmes that transform early-stage, manually run channels into scalable operations. Use performance data, partner feedback, and frontline input to diagnose root causes. Design and implement processes across partner onboarding, deal registration, lead routing, escalation, and support handoffs. Remove manual workarounds and single points of dependency. Prioritize improvements by impact on partner productivity, revenue, and operational risk. Train affected teams and confirm fixes hold. **Launch delivery & market readiness:** Run end-to-end channel launches, translating expansion decisions into live sales channels. Turn agreed priorities into executable market plans with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, and dates. Develop market-ready go-to-market plans covering target partner profiles, recruitment, onboarding, and enablement. Coordinate partner collateral, training, incentive mechanics, and support models. Close out regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements with relevant functions. Hand over cleanly to regional teams and feed learnings into global playbooks. **Operating model, systems & data:** Work with Sales Support and Tooling to design operational workflows—onboarding, deal registration, quoting, commission, payout, contract administration. Define reporting that gives leadership visibility of partner pipeline, activation, and productivity by market and channel. Surface risks to channel targets early. **Alignment & unblocking:** Act as the single point of coordination for channel expansion across Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Enablement. Line up stakeholders, secure commitments, and hold teams to deliverables. Identify and resolve blockers; escalate with clear recommendations where needed. Broker trade-offs between competing priorities. **Market analysis:** Input into market-level pricing, commission structures, and incentive models. Research market and competitor channel programmes. Develop new ideas into decision-ready briefs framing opportunity, options, commercial case, and recommendations for GTM leadership. You're a structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity, comfortable designing processes from scratch. You take satisfaction in landing changes, not just planning them. You're commercially curious, want to understand what drives numbers, and deliver through teams you don't manage. You're tenacious, proactive, highly organized, and operate independently without close management.
