Salary: USD 112,080 - 202,500 / annual
Square is seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead the Reseller Channel Partnerships team and define Square's growth strategy through global reseller distribution partners. Reporting to the Head of Reseller Channel Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and scaling partnerships with ISOs (Independent Sales Organizations), ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), and VARs (Value-Added Resellers) to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include managing ISO relationships as the primary focus, driving product distribution through the global reseller community, and leading all aspects of deal execution with full autonomy. This encompasses identifying and prioritizing target partners, conducting prospect meetings, developing business cases, structuring deals, negotiating contracts, closing agreements, and launching partnerships. You will partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Legal teams while being accountable for measurable business results.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience successfully signing, launching, and growing distribution partnerships with measurable new customer acquisition and revenue impact. You should have deep knowledge of the global reseller landscape, market dynamics, and key industry issues. Strong analytical skills are essential to demonstrate ROI for partner initiatives, along with excellent project management capabilities for leading cross-functional, global initiatives. Strategic thinking, outstanding communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical.
This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to company leadership. Preferred qualifications include a fintech or payments industry background and an MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
