Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes.
As a Channel Partner Manager for ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partnerships, you will architect and scale Ramp's partner ecosystem by turning its developer platform and APIs into revenue-generating integrations. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and Ramp's growing network of third-party platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting end-to-end partner integrations using Ramp's developer platform (APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, embedded finance primitives, workflow automation)
- Pitching, negotiating, and closing co-build and co-sell agreements with ISVs, embedded finance partners, and strategic tech platforms
- Serving as the primary bridge between external partner engineering teams and Ramp's internal teams (engineering, product, sales, solutions, legal, GTM)
- Defining and owning integration success metrics (adoption, usage, retention, partner-driven revenue)
- Managing partner relationships, clarifying data flows, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables
- Identifying integration blockers and architecting solutions around rate limits, data model mismatches, scaling, security, and compliance
- Influencing partner roadmaps and product prioritization based on integration opportunities
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in partner sales, business development, alliances, or channel partnerships with ISV/tech partner exposure
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven architecture, data models, authentication flows (OAuth, API keys), and embedded finance primitives
- Ability to architect integration flows without writing production code (sequence diagrams, data flow mapping, responsibility specification)
- Proven commercial instincts and ability to position integrations as strategic value
- Track record of delivering quantifiable results in partnership, integration, or ecosystem-building roles
- Excellent communication across engineers, product teams, sales leaders, and executives
- Bias toward execution, speed, and clean delivery
- Comfort working in ambiguity with incomplete documentation and evolving requirements
Nice-to-haves include fintech or embedded-finance experience, history with ERP/accounting/procurement platforms, prior co-sell or partner-driven GTM success, and familiarity with financial workflows (expense management, reimbursements, vendor payments, bookkeeping).
