Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. As the founding Channel Partner Manager for Canada, you will build Ramp's partner motion from the ground up, helping Canadian businesses discover and adopt Ramp through trusted advisors and ecosystem partners.
This is a zero-to-one role where you own the full partner lifecycle: identifying and engaging Canadian accounting, advisory, private equity, and venture capital partners; signing agreements; enabling partners; and driving partner-sourced pipeline. You will build Ramp's Canadian channel strategy and operating rhythm, research and qualify net-new partners, create joint go-to-market plans, and develop trusted relationships with decision-makers inside partner organizations.
Key responsibilities include educating partners on Ramp's capabilities, owning partner onboarding and activation, generating referral revenue, conducting regular business reviews, and working closely with the Canadian Sales team to advance partner-referred opportunities. You'll also partner with Product to surface partner needs and inform the Canadian roadmap.
You bring 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in partner sales, business development, or channel partnerships. You are a high-agency, self-starter with proven track record sourcing and managing partnerships. You have strong discovery and consultative-selling skills, excellent communication, operating discipline, and comfort using data to improve performance. Familiarity with the Canadian business and technology ecosystem is required. Experience building new partner motions, French fluency, presence in Canadian financial services or technology networks, and familiarity with finance and accounting workflows are nice-to-have.
