Carbon Health, a physician-founded healthcare organization, is seeking a Center Manager for its Simi Valley clinic location. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational and clinical management of the center in partnership with the Center Medical Director.
Key responsibilities include:
• Implement staffing standards for hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and talent management according to Carbon Health best practices
• Assess team member development needs, create succession plans, and establish development plans to support growth
• Lead regular team meetings, resolve conflicts, motivate employees, and foster a culture of communication to promote retention
• Partner with the Center Medical Director to set, communicate, and monitor clinical excellence and safety standards in compliance with regulatory agencies and company policy, including emergency preparedness, hazardous materials management, security, equipment, and utilities
• Build positive relationships with clinicians, support staff, patients, community members, and vendors; manage conflicts with care and empathy
• Respond to patient inquiries with urgency and professionalism
• Monitor and control clinic expenditures within approved budgets using administrative guidelines and organizational benchmarks
• Identify and implement necessary modifications to procedures and resource commitments based on financial changes
• Identify, plan, and participate in marketing activities and community events to increase patient volume and engagement
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA
You will demonstrate key capabilities including collaboration, driving outcomes, influencing and informing others, demonstrating accountability, managing through ambiguity, and developing yourself and others through real-time coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
• 1+ year of healthcare leadership experience and/or combination of healthcare experience and education
• Active listener with strong soft skills to build and maintain trusting relationships at all organizational levels
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
