Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual
Kyverna Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Cell Therapy Account Management Specialist to lead commercial strategy and execution for cell therapy adoption in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. This is a remote role reporting to the VP of Sales.
You will serve as the primary commercial account lead for designated treatment centers, academic institutions, community practices, and referral networks. Your core responsibilities include:
• Owning sales, account, and performance objectives for assigned geography while maintaining compliance and patient focus
• Developing and executing comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned with national and regional priorities
• Identifying opportunities to increase appropriate patient identification, referral, and treatment within assigned accounts
• Analyzing account dynamics, referral patterns, patient flows, competitive activity, and market trends
• Building deep knowledge of the autoimmune treatment landscape, cell therapy, and Kyverna's clinical and commercial value proposition
• Establishing trusted relationships with key stakeholders across neurology, hematology/oncology, and other relevant specialties
• Navigating complex academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and community practices
• Mapping patient referral pathways and identifying barriers to appropriate care
• Supporting treatment centers in understanding operational requirements for cell therapy delivery
• Helping establish effective relationships and processes between referring physicians and authorized treatment centers
• Developing deep understanding of the end-to-end cell therapy patient journey
• Serving as the commercial "quarterback" across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Clinical, Operations, and other internal partners
• Leading account discussions and coordinating internal resources based on account-specific priorities
• Providing timely insights on customer needs, competitive developments, referral trends, and market opportunities
• Influencing internal resource allocation and prioritization without direct authority
• Staying current with evolving autoimmune disease and cell therapy landscape
• Translating customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
• Participating in scientific, industry, and customer forums
• Maintaining accurate account plans, customer information, activity documentation, and business intelligence
• Traveling within assigned territory and nationally as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, or complex healthcare sales/commercial experience
• Experience in autoimmune disease, rheumatology, neurology, immunology, rare disease, specialty medicine, or cell therapy
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex healthcare accounts with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Experience working with academic medical centers, community practices, integrated delivery networks, or other complex healthcare systems
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
• Demonstrated ability to identify and influence key stakeholders across complex organizations
• Strong understanding of the patient journey and ability to identify opportunities to improve patient identification, referral, access, and treatment
• Experience with cell therapy, CAR-T, or other complex therapies strongly preferred
• Launch experience in a specialty, rare disease, autoimmune, or cell therapy environment highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority
• Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and strategic planning skills
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• High level of scientific and technical aptitude with ability to credibly engage with healthcare professionals
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare compliance requirements
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory and nationally as needed
• Experience with buy-and-bill, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, or other complex access models preferred
