Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual
Kyverna Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Cell Therapy Account Management Specialist to lead commercial strategy and execution for cell therapy adoption in autoimmune disease across the Central/Mountain territory. This role serves as the primary commercial account lead for designated treatment centers, academic institutions, community practices, and referral networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales, account, and performance objectives while maintaining compliance and patient focus
- Own overall commercial strategy and execution for assigned treatment centers and referral networks
- Develop and execute comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned with national and regional priorities
- Identify opportunities to increase appropriate patient identification, referral, and treatment adoption
- Analyze account dynamics, referral patterns, patient flows, competitive activity, and market trends
- Build deep knowledge of the autoimmune treatment landscape, cell therapy, and Kyverna's value proposition
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders across neurology, hematology/oncology, and other relevant specialties
- Navigate complex academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and community practices
- Identify and map patient referral pathways across autoimmune disease networks
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Market Access, Patient Services, Operations, Clinical) to address barriers in the patient journey
- Support treatment center readiness for cell therapy, including operational requirements and process establishment
- Serve as the commercial "quarterback" coordinating Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners
- Provide timely insights on customer needs, competitive developments, referral trends, and market opportunities
- Influence internal resource allocation and prioritization without direct authority
- Maintain strong understanding of evolving autoimmune disease and cell therapy landscape
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
- Execute all activities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate account plans, customer information, and business intelligence documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, or complex healthcare sales/commercial experience
- Experience in autoimmune disease, rheumatology, neurology, immunology, rare disease, specialty medicine, or cell therapy
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex healthcare accounts with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience working with academic medical centers, community practices, integrated delivery networks, or other complex healthcare systems
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
- Demonstrated ability to identify and influence key stakeholders across complex organizations
- Strong understanding of the patient journey and ability to identify opportunities to improve patient identification, referral, access, and treatment
- Experience with cell therapy, CAR-T, or other complex therapies strongly preferred
- Launch experience in a specialty, rare disease, autoimmune, or cell therapy environment highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority
- Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and strategic planning skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- High level of scientific and technical aptitude with ability to credibly engage with healthcare professionals
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare compliance requirements
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and nationally as needed with valid driver's license
- Experience with buy-and-bill, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, or other complex access models preferred
