As a Category Manager, you will drive growth strategy for assigned product categories across the European marketplace. You will leverage data to identify opportunities across supply, demand, and customer experience, ensuring a competitive and attractive assortment. You'll report to the Category Management Team Lead and collaborate closely with Supply (Business Development and Account Management), Marketing, and Product teams. Key responsibilities include: - Define mid-term category growth strategy with targets, assortment priorities, and growth opportunities - Identify and close assortment gaps (subcategories, brands, top-selling products) by partnering with business developers and account managers - Assess category performance, stock availability, and attractiveness; trigger sourcing and commercial actions to improve results - Prioritize initiatives to enhance on-site category experience, product presentation, and customer journey based on competitor and customer data - Automate processes to focus on insights and recommendations rather than manual analysis - Serve as the category expert and internal point of contact The company values fact-based decision-making over hierarchy, embraces feedback and experimentation, and maintains a learning-oriented culture. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of relevant experience in category management or commercial analytics in dynamic e-commerce and/or marketplace environments - Highly analytical and structured approach; ability to turn data into clear insights and prioritized actions - Strong commercial acumen with understanding of marketplace supply and demand dynamics - Experienced in project management; ability to thrive working with cross-functional teams and drive impactful results - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Growth mindset: persistent, proactive, hands-on problem solver - AI-advocate who uses latest tools and technologies to work smarter and faster NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in Consumer Electronics or Secondary Market - Ability to work with data beyond dashboards (Python and/or SQL)
