LeafLink is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Operations Processor to join its Cash Operations team. This role is central to safe, accurate, and compliant cash handling within the cannabis industry, where precision and strong relationship management are essential.
Key responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating cash pickups with armored courier services across assigned accounts and locations; balancing and reconciling daily cash transactions while identifying and resolving discrepancies; serving as a primary point of contact for customers regarding pickup schedules, cash handling procedures, and account questions; building and maintaining strong relationships with courier partners; supporting implementation and ongoing operation of smart safe technology for customers, including training and troubleshooting; monitoring smart safe reporting to ensure cash deposits align with expected totals; maintaining accurate records of cash transactions in compliance with internal controls and regulations; assisting the banking back office team with transaction posting; identifying and escalating irregularities or compliance concerns; supporting process improvement initiatives; and maintaining strict confidentiality while adhering to cannabis banking regulations and security protocols.
Required qualifications include 1-3 years of experience in cash handling, cash operations, banking operations, or a related field (cannabis industry experience is a plus); strong reconciliation and numerical accuracy skills with comfort working across high transaction volumes; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines; comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities; proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; high integrity and discretion; and ability to pass a background check. Experience or familiarity with smart safe systems, cash management technology, and banking/transaction posting systems is preferred.
