Swap is building AI-native commerce infrastructure that connects backend operations with modern storefront experiences. The company centralizes global operations for brands selling across multiple channels, offering products spanning cross-border logistics, tax, returns, demand planning, and agentic storefronts. As Carrier Manager for the Americas, you will own strategic and operational relationships with major carriers across Swap's merchant portfolio. This is a senior individual contributor role designed to elevate carrier management from reactive firefighting to proactive commercial ownership. Key responsibilities include: - Owning strategic and operational carrier relationships across the Americas - Leading negotiations on rates, surcharges, service commitments, and contract terms - Running quarterly business reviews and regular carrier-performance reviews - Monitoring service, transit, and cost performance across key lanes and merchants - Leading major carrier escalations and driving corrective action - Supporting Sales and Account Management on complex merchant opportunities - Recommending routing, carrier, and commercial changes based on performance and economics - Building disciplined internal reporting on carrier health and risk - Working closely with Operations, Product, and Finance on carrier-linked issues and decisions You will operate credibly across carriers, commercial teams, and senior leadership, translating complex logistics and commercial dynamics into actionable insights and decisions. REQUIREMENTS: - 7–12 years in carrier management, parcel, cross-border logistics, or related fields - Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or comparable carrier and ecommerce infrastructure businesses - Strong negotiation capability - Strong analytical judgment - Ability to operate credibly with carriers, commercial teams, and senior leadership
