Alan is a fast-growing healthtech company building the new standard in prevention insurance, integrating insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience. The company serves 1M+ members across 40K+ partner companies and has reached €800M+ in ARR.
As a Care Expert on the Belgium care team, you will be on the frontline supporting Alan's members through chat, email, and phone. Your responsibilities include:
• Handling member requests in a meaningful, delightful, and timely manner, providing transparent, accurate, and helpful support on health-related matters
• Contributing to process and product improvements by analyzing member interactions, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions
• Becoming an expert in healthcare and insurance while helping onboard and mentor new care team members
• Participating in building and growing the Belgium care team as it expands rapidly
The Belgium care team is currently small but has ambitious growth plans. You'll have the opportunity to shape the team's culture and operations while delivering exceptional customer service on a crucial subject—members' health.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years of experience in customer support, education, or communication
• Bilingual fluency in English and Dutch
• Passion for member care and problem-solving
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable with computers and general technology
• Empathetic mindset
• Motivated and entrepreneurial approach
• Enthusiasm for teamwork, learning, and teaching
• Bonus: Knowledge of the Belgian healthcare system (training provided if needed)
• Must be legally eligible to work from Belgium or France
• Note: Insurance is a regulated profession; you will need to pass a basic insurance knowledge test within your first year (exam covered by Alan; some exemptions apply)
