STOKE Space Technologies is building Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight to radically lower space launch costs and increase flight cadence. As CAD/PLM Administrator, you will support and maintain the company's Siemens NX and Teamcenter environment, serving as a critical technical resource for the engineering team.
You will provide day-to-day user support by troubleshooting NX and Teamcenter issues, helping engineers resolve problems, and coordinating with IT or vendor support when needed. You will maintain NX configurations including configuration files, customer defaults, templates, and material databases to ensure consistency across teams. Your responsibilities include administering Teamcenter user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions in coordination with IT and engineering, while supporting existing workflows and application configurations.
You will manage engineering data workflows, helping users resolve issues with check-in/check-out, revisions, product structures, and release processes. You will maintain the reuse library by creating, updating, and organizing common parts, reusable features, and templates, regularly validating this content in NX. You will support NX and Teamcenter upgrades and deployments by coordinating with IT to test updates, validate workflows, communicate changes, and resolve post-rollout issues.
Additionally, you will identify recurring problems and implement practical improvements to configurations, documentation, or tools to reduce support needs. You will maintain custom tools including macros, features, and interface enhancements, and assist with testing and deploying new capabilities. Documentation and knowledge-sharing are key responsibilities—you will maintain troubleshooting guides, configuration records, and user instructions while helping onboard new users and provide training. Finally, you will monitor application and license issues, tracking recurring errors and performance concerns while working with IT to maintain appropriate licensing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience supporting or administering Siemens NX in an engineering environment
- Working knowledge of NX configurations, templates, reuse libraries, and material databases
- Practical NX modeling skills, including creating and modifying parts and working with assemblies
- Experience using and supporting Teamcenter, including familiarity with engineering data, revisions, and release workflows
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work through technical issues methodically
- Service-oriented approach with clear communication, ability to manage competing support requests, and follow issues through to resolution
- Ability to document procedures, learn unfamiliar tools, and work independently while coordinating with engineering and IT
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience administering Teamcenter users, groups, roles, permissions, and application preferences
- Experience supporting NX and Teamcenter installations, upgrades, or deployments
- Familiarity with Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) and basic data-model configuration
- Experience creating or maintaining NX macros, journals, custom features, or other automation
- Experience with NX surface modeling and large assemblies
- Experience maintaining shared CAD libraries and engineering standards
- Experience supporting CAD/PLM tools in aerospace, manufacturing, or hardware engineering environments
