STOKE Space is building Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight to radically lower space launch costs and increase flight cadence. The company is creating a scalable space industry by tackling core challenges in space transportation.
As CAD/PLM Administrator, you will be the technical backbone supporting STOKE's engineering teams' design and manufacturing workflows. You will manage and maintain the Siemens NX and Teamcenter environment, ensuring engineers have reliable, efficient tools to design and iterate on reusable launch systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and user support for NX and Teamcenter, helping engineers resolve issues and coordinating with IT or vendor support as needed
- Maintain NX configurations including configuration files, customer defaults, templates, material databases, and shared resources
- Administer Teamcenter user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions in coordination with IT and engineering teams
- Support engineering data workflows including check-in/check-out, revisions, product structures, and release processes
- Create, update, and organize the reuse library of common parts, reusable features, and templates; validate content regularly in NX
- Coordinate with IT to test and deploy NX and Teamcenter updates, validate workflows, and resolve post-rollout issues
- Identify recurring problems and implement practical improvements to configurations, documentation, and tools
- Support existing macros, features, and custom interface enhancements; assist with testing and deploying new capabilities
- Maintain troubleshooting guides, configuration records, and user instructions; onboard new users and provide training
- Monitor application performance, license availability, and recurring errors; work with IT to address issues
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with CAD tools, solving technical problems, and helping engineering teams succeed. You will work directly with engineers and IT to keep the environment reliable and efficient as STOKE scales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience supporting or administering Siemens NX in an engineering environment
- Working knowledge of NX configurations, templates, reuse libraries, and material databases
- Practical NX modeling skills, including creating and modifying parts and working with assemblies
- Experience using and supporting Teamcenter, including familiarity with engineering data, revisions, and release workflows
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work through technical issues methodically
- Service-oriented approach with clear communication, ability to manage competing support requests, and follow issues to resolution
- Ability to document procedures, learn unfamiliar tools, and work independently while coordinating with engineering and IT
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience administering Teamcenter users, groups, roles, permissions, and application preferences
- Experience supporting NX and Teamcenter installations, upgrades, or deployments
- Familiarity with Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) and basic data-model configuration
- Experience creating or maintaining NX macros, journals, custom features, or other automation
- Experience with NX surface modeling and large assemblies
- Experience maintaining shared CAD libraries and engineering standards
- Experience supporting CAD/PLM tools in aerospace, manufacturing, or other hardware engineering environments
