Anduril Industries is seeking a C++ Engineer to join the Air & Missile Defense Radar team. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge tracking algorithms and high-performance software systems that detect, track, and characterize airborne threats in real-time.
You will design and implement advanced multi-target tracking algorithms, develop real-time software systems that process radar sensor data for dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets, and build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance. The work spans algorithm development, high-performance distributed systems, and sensor data processing where milliseconds matter.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems, optimizing software for performance-critical environments, communicating technical concepts to cross-functional teams and customers, and participating in customer demonstrations and field tests.
Required qualifications: 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent). Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, solid foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics, differential equations), and understanding of software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control, debugging).
