ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, is seeking a Buyer for Supply Chain to join the Global Manufacturing Organisation (GMO). This role is critical to ensuring the availability of flight-critical systems—including ADCS, propulsion, power, and composite satellite structures—that directly impact satellite control and mission success.
You will work closely with suppliers, engineering, and production teams to translate technical needs into reliable supply chains, manage procurement risk, and support the scaling of satellite production. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and issuing RFQs and RFIs for Flight Control, Power, and Structures components; consolidating supplier responses for evaluation; placing and managing purchase orders from confirmation through delivery; following up with suppliers on order status and escalating delays as needed; maintaining procurement documentation and contracts for audit compliance; handling administrative supply chain tasks including data entry, PO amendments, and invoice reconciliation in ERP/MRP systems; supporting senior supply chain specialists with sourcing activities; coordinating with engineering, quality, production, and finance teams on delivery schedules; and tracking procurement records for management reviews.
You bring 2+ years of procurement or buying experience sourcing technical hardware, ideally in aerospace, electronics, or hardware manufacturing. You have hands-on experience preparing RFQs/RFIs and managing purchase orders end-to-end. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple orders and suppliers in parallel are essential. You communicate effectively across functions with engineering and production teams, are proficient with ERP/MRP systems, and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven hardware production environments. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is required, along with comfort working within international supplier ecosystems.
Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with flight hardware, control systems, and composite materials supply chains, as well as exposure to scaling production in fast-growing, technology-driven companies.
ICEYE operates globally with over 1,000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. The company delivers persistent monitoring capabilities via the world's largest and most advanced SAR satellite constellation to defense, intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance, and emergency management customers. The role is permanent, hybrid (maximum 2 days per week work-from-home), and subject to applicable security screening.
