CesiumAstro is seeking a Buyer I to join its procurement operations team in Westminster, Colorado. The company develops advanced communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
In this role, you will support procurement operations by purchasing materials, equipment, and services that enable manufacturing, production, and business operations. You will coordinate procurement activities, monitor supplier performance, and ensure materials and services are acquired in accordance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Purchasing materials, equipment, and services for manufacturing and production
- Coordinating with supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, quality, program management, and finance teams
- Monitoring supplier performance and material availability
- Ensuring procurement actions align with operational priorities, production schedules, and business objectives
- Contributing to operational efficiency through effective procurement coordination
This is a hands-on role in a dynamic startup environment focused on supporting new product development and manufacturing of satellite communications equipment. You will work cross-functionally across the organization and have the opportunity to develop expertise in procurement for advanced aerospace and defense technologies.
